The Honcho Rookie is an excellent competitive or recreational ski for novices, intermediate- and advanced paddlers. Offering stability, comfort and speed, the Rookie is based on the Honcho Oceans Pro (Navigate to page Oceans Pro) but is more forgiving due to an extra 30 mm in width and slightly more pronounced nose rocker.

With solid secondary stability, the Rookie is an all-round performer that turns extremely well in surf and firms up in rough seas.

The Honcho Rookie is primarily designed to accommodate men of 70 - 120 kg. It's a stable but competitive ski that would allow you to upgrade to the Oceans Pro without the usual balance problems caused by migrating to a racing craft.
